Glu launches free zombie hit-and-run game Gears & Guts on Android
Continuing the current trend for genre mash-ups, Glu has just released a game on Android that combines elements of driving and shooting and throws in a load of zombie cannon fodder.
In Gears & Guts, it appears as if zombies have taken over your town, but rather than hide in a farm and bicker about the morality of it all you decide to jump in a tooled-up car and squish some undead.
Yes, it's a decidedly silly premise, but don't worry: Glu seems to be playing it for laughs. There's a breezy and colourful art style here that emphasizes knockabout fun over X-rated grimness.
Gears & Guts is free to play, but naturally you can pay to unlock special items for your undeathmobile. Speaking of which, alongside a collection of cars, monster trucks, and armoured vehicles, Glu has included an exclusive Android-only car.

Shark Dash Goes Free On iOS And Android To Help Celebrate Shark Week, Promote Conservation
On that note, yes, Shark Week celebrates its 25th anniversary this year, and Gameloft teamed with Discovery Channel and non-profit organization WildAid to raise awareness of shark conservation, more notably the cutting of their fins, which are then sold to make soup and silly things.
With this in mind, Shark Dash is free on iOS, and you can also download an ad-free Android version with the option of purchasing a special Fintastic Sharkee skin for $0.99, $4.99, or $24.99; this amounts to a donation for sharks. I have been using and testing several cloud services these past months. Today, you can find a lot of cloud services available these days even Amazon and Google have their own versions now. There are a lot of good ones out there but Dropbox has been around for awhile and it's still one of my favorite cloud service.
